The Shape of Science Symposium will bring together world-class researchers and business leaders to examine the composition of science in the future and the connections between the medical, social, engineering, physical and life sciences.
The event aims to offer an overview of current scientific thinking and its impact on the wider world, It will include plenary addresses by internationally recognised leaders in the field, detailed case studies and discussion forum. It will also seek to showcase the work of younger pre- and post-doctoral researchers.
Shape of Science 2010 - Poster Session Prize Winners
A total of twenty-six posters were presented at the 2010 Shape of Science symposium and the standard was extremely high. After much deliberation the poster panel awarded first prize to Sam Shribman, University College London for his poster entitled 'Shaping the Brain - Neuroplasticity from Elite Athletes to Brain Injury Patients'
